How is evolution anymore logical than creationism?

In order to believe either you need to take a leap of faith. Creationism never claims to be logical or verifiable. Evolution on the other hand says evidence is its bases. Im sorry but unless i see it for myself i wont believe it. Fossils are not proof and neither are similarity's in dna. For me to link those two with one a highly intelligent being that can space travel, create irrigation systems and even clone other animals having a common ancestor to an animal that still eats its own ****. Ones brain magically evolved but the others stayed the same through millions of years? Now that really would need a leap of faith.
