Can a Scorpio win back a Pisces after "stinging" them?

My mom is a scorpio and I am a pisces. We had a hard time getting along growing up, but now she is my best friend. I really don't think astrology has anything to do with it, it's how bad you want the relationship to work, and are you willing to put in the effort.
